MyNetResearch Leads in Research Collaboration
A scant four months after our launch, MyNetResearch has become the leading global collaborative research website. Close to 1500 researchers from 95 countries now use MyNetResearch as a platform to find researchers and conduct their research. Universities continue to sign up their faculty and individual researchers join daily from all over the world. These are exciting times as a paradigm change in the conduct of research happens right before us.
Growing and Growing...
The latest universities to join MyNetResearch include Gulf University for Science and Technology (Kuwait), University of Fortaleza (Brazil) and University of Malaya! A big welcome to these universities from all over the world from the MyNetResearch Community. We are now truly global, with many universities continuing to join MyNetResearch from every continent! Help our community grow by introducing MyNetResearch to your Department Chair, Dean, or Provost.
An iPoD Nano will be awarded every month for the best Wiki Entry!
We will be giving away a brand new iPoD Nano away every month for the best Wiki entry. The MyNetResearch Wiki is a member-created and managed collection of theories from all the subject areas represented in the system. Unlike Wikipedia, the MyNetResearch Wiki is a narrower, but much deeper knowledge repository. We will evaluate new Wiki entries at the end of every month. We look forward to reading your Wiki entries.
The Research Methods Adviser- A powerful Toolbox element
For many doctoral students and expert researchers alike, the Research Methods Adviser is a useful expert system that advises in three different areas. The first is Selecting a Sample Design, the second is Selecting a Research Method, and the third is Selecting a Statistical Test. They help the less-experienced researcher choose a specific test for data or experimental design to use, based on the context. Even the more experienced researcher benefits from a validation of the research method selected. Premium and Institutional members can use these tools to improve their research quality.
Results of the Doctoral Students Competition to be Announced Soon...
We are currently evaluating the 55 submissions to our Doctoral Students Competition that ended last month. We will announce the results of the competition and the three winning entries on October 15, 2008, so stay tuned!!
